Welcome! I’m Pam Myers, M.S. I’m a Reggio-inspired artist, early childhood educator and Erikson Institute trained developmental specialist based in Lake Forest, Illinois. I’m passionate about helping children and families discover connection, confidence and joy through art, play, nature and relationships.

I specialize in supporting children who experience the world a little differently including those with ADHD, anxiety, Autism, sensory processing differences, learning challenges, developmental delays and social-emotional or executive functioning difficulties. Whether a child is struggling with emotional regulation, self-confidence, friendships, flexibility or simply finding their place, I strive to meet them exactly where they are.

My approach is deeply relational, creative and child-led. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia philosophy and grounded in developmental science, I create experiences that invite curiosity, self-expression, problem-solving and meaningful connection. I believe children thrive when they feel safe, understood and free to explore at their own pace.

I hold a Masters of Science in Early Childhood Development from the Erikson Institute and a Certificate in Drawing from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Before entering the field of child development, I worked in advertising and graphic design which continues to influence the thoughtful and engaging environments I create for children and families.

For nearly twenty years I’ve worked alongside children in classrooms, therapeutic settings and community programs blending art, play, mindfulness and developmental principles into experiences that nurture the whole child. I also enjoy partnering with parents, educators and other professionals recognizing that lasting growth happens when everyone works together.

Whether we’re painting, building, exploring nature, creating with loose parts or simply sitting together in conversation my hope is always the same: to help children feel capable, connected and deeply understood.
